About Nocino’s Pizza Burning Man Theme Camp

Nocino’s Pizza was founded in 2018 by a group of friends who, surprise, like pizza. After exploring options, they decided on a deconstructable brick oven for portability and heat capacity. Heated to over 900F, the oven cooks a Neopolitan style pizza in under 4 minutes. 

What is Nocino?

Nocino is a walnut liquor which originated in Italy. Walnuts are harvested on St John’s day (June 24th) mixed with vodka, spices, and citrus fruit. The mixture marinates for at least 3 months after which it’s filtered & sweetened before bottling.

Nocino’s Pizza does not have Nocino on the official menu but it’s been rumored that if you find the right person in camp AND befriend them that they might share their homemade Nocino with you. RUMOR.
